CBD – The Facts

CBD oil is produced by extracting CBD from the cannabis plant, then diluting it with a carrier oil like coconut or hemp seed oil.

All of our CBD oils are not toxic, non addictive and tested to make the products as clean and safe to use as physically possible. The 0.2% THC limit only pertains to a growing hemp plant when you have a license. The home office issued guidance specifically for CBD products last year, which stated that “any products that contain more than 1mg of THC (basically no THC) have to be licensed to be sold” this is great for us at Nuts About Health as this means we are one of the cleanest and safe CBD brands in the business and we are extremely proud of this!

THC is another rather unhelpful paradigm of the hemp industry, as it’s the enzyme that produces the high when cannabis is smoked.
There are so many people that are currently of the opinion that CBD = Cannabis = Illegal = stay away from it and this is typically based on an ignorance of the facts. There are many different types of products derived from the Cannabis Sativa plant, each purposed for a different kind of delivery or a different kind of use. Only a very small fraction of these products can be identified as containing Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD products in the UK can contain up to 0.2% of THC to be considered legal and “THC free”.

There are no known side effects, unlike many pharmaceutical tablets. Side effects such as nausea, stomach issues and drowsiness are all not associated with CBD products.

Fully legal in the UK and we are proud of how clean our product is, meaning that we can provide the cleanest and safe product for all, including athletes.

Extracted through CO2 and this is the most pure method of extraction, we use this method as it can ensure our product quality and that no impurities are left in the end product.
